After thousands of years of slumber, Vargard Nefershah rallies legions of his kind to eradicate the interloping Adeptus Mechanicus who have unwittingly established themselves on his world. Across the galaxy, Magos Dominus Faustinius is called upon to bring his hard-earned experience to ensure the Necrons do not succeed. The conflict quickly becomes a crucible of unexpected significance, drawing in stranger and deadlier outside actors.

The strategic gameplay promises to be the highlight of the game once again Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II, with players able to manage their territory’s garrisons and assemble troops for each mission, choosing from a very wide range of fighters from each faction. New environmental mechanics will also require players to maneuver their forces like never before and play to their faction’s chosen strengths and weaknesses – hiding behind terrain like the Mechanicus, or destroying them like the Necrons.
