Critical environmental education reveals itself as an important practice, as it is able to include social and environmental problems in their multiple faces and dimensions. Therefore, this article has sought to understand the ECBH (School of Science, Biology and History) texts from the perspective of critical environmental education. The College of Science, Biology and History (ECBH) is one of the centers of science, education and culture in the city of Vitoria that aims to popularize science. For this, we conducted a documentary analysis – national and local documents referring to education and museum space. To assist us in the dialogue about non-formal education spaces, we sought Gohn (2006, 2014) and Chagas (1993). In order to discuss important environmental education, we bring in Guimarães (2000) and Loureiro (2004, 2015). The methodology used was qualitative.
