From Monday (21), people born after 1984 or businesses opened after that year will be able to request the withdrawal of forgotten resources in financial institutions. The process must be carried out on the Debit Values website, which is set up by the Central Bank (BC) to consult and schedule the withdrawal of the remaining balances.

Consultations opened on the evening of February 13. At that time, the system informed itself of the date and time when users with funds to withdraw should return to the site to set the appointment. The process continues until Friday (25). Anyone who is behind the deadline or time can do a replay on Saturday (26th), from 4 a.m. to 12 noon. Users who missed the summary will only be able to come back from March 28th.

After requesting a withdrawal, the financial institution will have up to 12 working days to make the transfer. The expectation is that payments made through Pix are made faster.

To schedule a withdrawal, the user must have a silver or gold account at Portal Gov.br. Secure identification of access to digital public services, the Gov.br account is available to all Brazilian citizens. Login has three security levels: Bronze for less sensitive services; Silver, which allows access to many digital services; A gold that gives access to all digital services.

According to the latest BC report, about 114 million people and 2.7 million businesses have gained access to the counseling system that was set up to recover funds. Of that total, 25.9 million individuals and 253,000 businesses discovered they had receivables.
