The CEO of Medow Entretenimento e Cultura – a Campinha Grande company that has put on the World’s Greatest São João Festival for several years – is in Florida to make artistic visits to the venues that are expected to host the big event in June. The “Cidade São João” project aims to spread June culture in the northeastern United States.
According to the businessman, the idea is to take the São João concept held in São Paulo in 2023, which had a huge impact in the São Paulo region, taking thousands of people to the Ibirapuera gymnasium.
São João Paulo brought northeastern culture with musical performances by big names in Brazilian music, especially exponents of the rhythm that prevails at the June festivals, the foro. “We intend to spread this culture all over the world,” Jomario stated.
