Who won the Carnival of Sao Paulo? See how the investigation went – Zoira

Mancha Verde is the champion of the 2022 São Paulo Carnival. The samba schools of the São Paulo private group were investigated on Tuesday (26th) afternoon, in Anhembi Sambadromein Sao Paulo, and select the winner.

This is the second title in the history of Mancha. The first was in 2019, the penultimate year before the rallies were interrupted due to the Covid pandemic.

All samba schools are restricted after reading the scores for the first question, harmony. Some schools benefited from getting rid of the lowest grade, and some got 9.9.

Main room and flag stand Changed the situation in Count São Paulo. The first place is ranked first with 60 points: Academicos de Tokorovi, Colorado, Unidos de Villa Maria, Academicos de Tatuabi, Musedad Alegre, Javes da Viel, Agoya de Oro, Rosas de Oro and Emporio de Casa Verde.

The next question was the plot read by Mister Zulu. Muzidad, Rosas, Tokorovy, Villa Maria, Emperio and Javiches are tied with 90 points.

After the element of evolution, attitudes changed. Now only Mocidade, Tucuruvi and Império have 120 points, with youth first For tie-breaking questions.

Mocidade is still in the lead, with a score of 150, ahead of Império and Tucuruvi, also by the same amount of points, after reading drum notes.

Fantasia was the fifth element, which finished with Mocidade still in the lead. Mancha and Villa Maria occupy the second and third places, respectively.

The last item, the “Front Committee”, was marked by disagreements between more than one school. But Mancha Verdi opened a sufficient distance and was the great champion.

Requirements

Schools will be judged in terms of harmony, samba-enredo, drums, symbol, forward commission, plot, fantasy, mister sala and flag bearer, as well as evolution, with scores ranging from nine to ten, with one decimal place. If some requirements are not met, there will also be penalties with deductions for the note.

In the event of a tie, the schools decided in a meeting with the association that the first item to be considered for definition would be the outcome of the front panel.
