Ari Merrill posts photo listening to singer’s music after controversial artist’s mother goes live off-air
The TV series that ended the relationship between Joao Gomez and Ari Merrill gained another chapter. This time, a post made by the influencer shortly after the singer’s mother’s live broadcast with allegedly indirect content divided the opinions of netizens. There has been speculation about the possibility of a reconciliation.
During a live broadcast on Instagram, Katya Gomez, the singer’s mother, between one interaction and another with her followers, wrote excerpts from Erva Venenosa’s song, which many interpreted as a hint at her son’s ex-girlfriend. “I’m so blunt that people get upset,” she said.

Immediately after this live broadcast by Katia, Ari Merrill shared a photo on her Instagram story showing her enjoying the holidays in Itamaracá, to the sound of the song Deusa de Itamaracá, by João Gomes himself. The publication, of course, generated a lot of speculation. Some saw the provocation, others the maturity, and there were those who indicated that it would be the first sign of reconciliation.
