Brent Montgomery has partnered with UK-based theme park and entertainment company Merlin Entertainments. This will see the duo develop a series of original, unscripted television shows based on the Merlin attractions.

Merlin has more than 140 attractions in 23 countries. Its most prominent operations include theme parks such as Alton Towers and Thorpe Park, and the Gateway Attracts brand portfolio, which includes Sea Life, The London Dungeons, Legoland, Warwick Castle, Madame Tussauds and Peppa Pig theme park.

It will form the basis of television programming that will span a variety of genres, including reality shows, documentaries and game shows.

Wheelhouse-Merlin's roster will be overseen by Glenn Hugill, Wheelhouse's chief content officer and head of the company's UK division.

Additionally, the collaboration will integrate talent and digital strategies through Wheelhouse DNA, Wheelhouse's creativity-focused division, and Additive Creative, its talent management arm. Strategic promotion is expected to form another pillar of the partnership.
