On Saturday night, the WWE Network will broadcast the first night of the biggest event of the year in sports entertainment, WrestleMania 39, from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

- Sami Zayn’s storyline with The Bloodline will come to a head as he, along with Kevin Owens, will challenge The Usos for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships!
- Rhea Ripley won the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble and will challenge her tormentor Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship on Saturday!
- Austin Theory got what he wanted and will be able to defend the WWE United States Championship against the legendary John Cena!
- Dominic Mysterio pushed his father, Rey Mysterio, to the limits and the veteran finally accepted his son’s face!
- Becky Lynch and Lita will get help from Trish Stratus to crash with Damage CTRL!

The main show begins with Becky G singing the award-winning “America The Beautiful” at a sold-out SoFi Stadium.
After the official event presentation, we were welcomed by Michael Cole and Corey Graves. Music plays The Miz, who is the special host of the event, is already in the ring with Snoop Dogg. Miz welcomes everyone to Los Angeles. Miz begins to tell Doug about his accomplishments, however, always trying to show himself as superior. Doug says this isn’t about them, it’s about all these heroes out there in the SoFi court.
The Miz agrees and starts talking about what will appear tonight, such as Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley, and Usos vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. However, Mize says this is no longer a time for talking, but rather a time for action. Doug says the big moment has come. Play Austin’s Music Theory.
The WWE United States Champion comes to the ring. Then he would put the title on the line against John Cena. Cena enters his famous theme song, with some kids from the Make-A-Wish Foundation on the main stage.
WWE United States Championship Match: Austin theory vs. John Cena
The theory gives Cena a low blow, without the referee seeing it, then applies the “A-Town Down”, followed by the pinfall.
We now see the Fatal Four-Way match last night on SmackDown, where Ricochet Montez defeated Ford, Chad Gable and Eric. Next up will be the men’s WrestleMania pay-per-view match. WWE Global Ambassador Titus O’Neil will be watching the match at the commentator table.
Men’s WrestleMania Match Viking Raiders (Eric & Ivar f/Valhalla) vs. American Alpha (Otis and Chad Gable) vs. Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) vs. Braun Strowman and Ricochet
Ford puts a “Frog Splash” on Ricochet, with Dawkins doing the pinning.
We are now watching a video of the rivalry between Brock Lesnar and Omos, who will face each other tomorrow, on the second night of competition at WrestleMania 39.
The next fight will be between Seth Rollins and Logan Paul. Let’s move on to the video that recaps all of the rivalry between the two, since the Royal Rumble.
Back in the arena, Logan Paul looks dangling from a steel wire, wondering if everyone missed it. Paul, now dubbed The Maverick, makes his entrance hanging in the air, while accompanied by a Prime Energy spell. At his entrance, Seth Rollins, with the help of a conductor, orchestrated the approximately 70,000 fans present in SoFi Stadium, chanting the sound of his famous song.
1 match: Logan Paul vs. Seth Rollins
– Rollins applies a “Curb Stomp” on Paul, followed by a pinfall.
The next fight will be a triple fight, between Damage CTRL and Becky Lynch and Lita and Trish Stratus. Let’s go to the competition video.
6- Doubles team match: CTRL damage (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY) vs. Trish Stratus W WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Lita and Becky Lynch
– Lynch applies a “Manhandle Slam” to Bayley, from the top corner, followed by the pinfall.
We are now watching a video of the rivalry between Bianca Belair and Asuka, who will face each other tomorrow on the second night of WrestleMania 39 for the RAW Women’s Championship.
Next will be the long-awaited fight between Rey and Dominic Mysterio. Father on son. Let’s go to the competition video.
Back in the arena, Bad Bunny, who will be guest hosting WWE Backlash in Puerto Rico, joins the Hispanic commentary table.
We see a video of Dominic Mysterio in prison, being escorted to a police car by guards. Back in the arena, the sounds of police sirens are echoing. Inside a police car, Dominic entered the arena, escorted by guards, wearing a purple and black doomsday mask. Before entering the ring, Dominic was freed from the handcuffs he was wearing and he also took off his mask.
Also with a special entrance, it’s now Rey Mysterio’s turn to introduce the voice of Viva La Raza, by Eddie Guerrero, brought in by Snoop Dogg in a luxury car.
1 match: Rey Mysterio vs. Dominic Mysterio
– After a distraction from Bad Bunny, Dominik suffers a “619” from Rey, followed by a hook.
During the fight, Finn Balor and Damian Priest appeared, but were attacked by Legado Del Fantasma, who came to Rey Mysterio’s defense.
After the match, Rey invited Alya and Angie to the ring to celebrate with him. Dominic looks on in disgust from the entrance ramp, along with Balor and the priest.
A promotional video is now live for WWE Backlash, a premium live event that will take place on May 6th in Puerto Rico.
Next up will be the fight between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley, with the SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line. Let’s go to the video about the rivalry.
SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley
– Ripley hits a “Riptide” from the top corner at Flair, followed by a pinch hit.
With this victory, Ripley won the SmackDown Women’s Championship for the first time in history.
Behind the scenes, Austin theorizes about his fight against John Cena, stating that he achieved his goal, describing himself as the greatest of all time.
In the ring, Snoop Dogg and The Miz announced that 80,497,000 people showed up at SoFi Stadium.
Doug asks Miz about a potential fight he has tonight. Miz says he’s not opening the challenge now because everyone’s afraid of him, because they know it’s too much. Pat McAfee’s music plays, driving audiences wild. McAfee comes to the ring and says he outshines The Miz in every aspect, on social media and also in the ring, so he wants to face him in this open challenge. Miz refuses to fight, however, McAfee taunts Bullet, which enrages him. Doug says that as second host, he’s directing the battle for the time being. Miz is angry. The bell has rung.
1 match: Maze vs. Pat McAfee
McAfee wins quickly after landing a “Big Kick” on Miz, followed by a pinfall.
The official card for the second night of WrestleMania 39, which will feature a fight between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship, is now showing as a highlight.
Then the main event will take place. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. Let’s go to the competition video.
Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos (Jey and Jimmy) vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
Zayn applies three “Helluva kicks” in a row on Jey, followed by a pinfall.
With this victory, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens captured the WWE Tag Team Championship, ending the Usos’ historic reign.
The show ends with Owens and Zayn celebrating in the center of the ring.
