Away from the stage to take care of her health, Joelma received a special gift from her fans on Monday (24). And the artist’s fans paid for her video to be shown on one of the screens in Times Square, one of the most important tourist attractions in New York.
The singer shared the surprise via Instagram Stories. Overjoyed, she thanked the emotion she received at such a delicate moment in her career.
“I have the biggest fan base in the world. Thank you for always being there for me,” the blonde wrote. “I have no words to thank,” she added.
Last Sunday (23rd), Joelma announced the cancellation of all shows she had scheduled for the next few weeks. The decision came after she fell ill during a show on Saturday (22nd).
She stated, “My children, singing for you and being with you is what I love most. It’s been almost 30 years of work taking this gift Heavenly Father gave me to the stage, but now I need to look after my health to be able to come back 100%. Thank you for everything! I love you.”
The company that manages the singer’s career from Barra also commented: “Jshows, the office that manages singer Joelma’s career, reiterates that Joelma did not feel well on the show Saturday night due to a relapse.
On July 10, Guelma was taken to a hospital in Bragança, in the interior of Pará. She was taken to hospital by ambulance and had to cancel four shows. The singer suffered from problems such as coughing, fever and difficulty breathing.
Check out a surprise for Joelma’s fans:
