Designed by Office Hayhurst & Co, the house is located in a small street in Tottenham, which again surrounds a wooded area. With five bedrooms arranged around a bright atrium, the Green House also has large gardens and a terrace. All spaces in the residence have views of the sky or vegetation, creating a connection with nature.

The design of the residence rethinks what a modern greenhouse looks like, blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces. Indeed, its front facade is covered in bamboo, with sliding polycarbonate screens referencing the greenhouses that once existed on the site. Plants and screens gently filter daylight, maintain privacy and provide protection on hot summer days.

One of the points that made the greenhouse a success was its sustainability. This is because the residence is made of exposed cross-laminated timber (CLT) walls, reclaimed concrete blocks and recycled cork floors. Also, its electrical energy is generated through heat pumps and solar panels.
