As of Monday, February 5, 2024, Brazilian workers will have a new tool available to consult salary allowance values. The Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) has made the resource available online on the portal Gov.br And in the digital business card. This measure is part of the process of digitalization and efficiency of public administration.
In 2024, the schedule for disbursing the salary bonus was unified for all workers, regardless of whether they are from the private sector or government employees. Feature availability now depends on the pro's birth month. Payments will begin on February 15th.
Who is eligible for PIS/PASEP salary allowance?
The benefit will be given to workers who have worked at least 30 days, consecutive or not, during base year 2022. In addition, the professional must have been registered with PIS/PASEP for at least five years, and have earned up to two Minimum monthly average wages and correctly report your data to the employer in the Annual Social Information List (RAIS) or in eSocial.
The value of the PIS/PASEP salary bonus
According to MTE data, in this calendar, more than 24 million workers will be entitled to receive the salary allowance. The total value of the investment will reach approximately 27 billion riyals. The value of the allowance will range from R$ 118.00 to R$ 1,412.00 and will take into account the number of months worked during the base year.
How to get PIS/PASEP?
The processing of MTE benefits was accelerated in 2024 and became more reliable thanks to the updated solution that makes payment possible. Now, the right is recognized through eSocial and RAIS, using the CPF to identify workers.
Payments will be made primarily by account deposit, through Caixa Econômica Federal and Banco do Brasil. Workers who require additional information can call 158, email or consult regional labor control bodies.
