As of 2024, more than 24 million workers are affected by a new government rule for PIS/PASEP withdrawals. This announcement comes as a measure to standardize and improve current operations.
From next year, the worker's birthday will be the sole criteria for issuing PIS/PASEP withdrawals. Furthermore, the value of benefits will be determined based on the minimum wage, which currently stands at R$1,412.
