PG Health expands the public to vaccinate against COVID-19 | the network

In addition to people between the ages of 50 and 59 with comorbidities, a schedule for the application of the first dose of the vaccine in early childhood will also be opened, as will primary and secondary education workers.

From Wednesday (19), the municipality of Ponta Grossa, through the Municipal Health Corporation and the Department of Vaccination, will expand the application of doses of the vaccine against Covid-19 to the public with comorbidity. Now, people between the ages of 50 and 59 will be able to register for the vaccination. The target audience should schedule the time on the City Hall website (https://www.pontagrossa.pr.gov.br/).

In addition to people between the ages of 50 and 59 with comorbidities, scheduling of the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will also be open to early childhood and primary and secondary education workers, with the school declared and the age between 55 and 59 years old. Vaccines will be applied between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm.

“We are expanding the public vaccination with comorbidities and maintaining education personnel. Teams are organized to serve about two thousand people per day, with the addition of two vaccination sites. The process is simple, just set an appointment on the City Hall website and be with all the required documents per day and time.” Highlights: Primary Care Nurse, Daniel Fabian.

On Thursday (20) and Friday (21), people with comorbidities between the ages of 50 and 59 will be vaccinated from 9 am to 3 pm. Other groups (teachers between 55 and 59, pregnant women with comorbidities – that is, age, people with Down syndrome – any age) will only enter the summary, which will take place at Estação Arte, from 3 PM to 5 PM, and does not require an appointment.

“It is important to understand that the scheduling does not guarantee the application of the vaccine, because it depends on validating the declaration (data) of comorbidity, if possible, presented on the day, time and place of vaccination with the RG, CPF and vaccination card,” explains the vaccination nurse, Stella Godoy.

Registration for vaccination opens on Thursday and Friday on Wednesday (19) at 8 am.
