Tim: Profits are jumping

TIM Brasil’s mobile service revenue in the July-September period rose 7.7% year-on-year, to 5.55 billion reais, mainly due to the revenue performance of the postpaid plan, while the fixed plan advanced 4.5%, to 325 million reais.

In the quarter, TIM added 61.3 million mobile users (-11% y/y), of which 34.1 million were prepaid users and 27.2 million were postpaid, while TIM UltraFibra’s customer base (+11.6% y/y) reached 791 One thousand users.

TIM said that normal operating costs and expenses amounted to 3 billion riyals in the third quarter, a growth of 4.5% compared to the same stage in 2022, which reflects “the effective implementation of the company’s cost control.”
