The players accused each other after Vasco’s historic defeat against Flamengo

The atmosphere was not the best for Vasco players last Sunday (02). In addition to suffering a historic 6-1 defeat to Flamengo, the Cruzmaltino athletes got out of control and argued in the Maracanã dressing room after the end of the classic match.

Once the match ended, the athletes went to the locker room, where the general discussion began. As their morale rose, the players exchanged accusations about the team’s performance against Flamengo. Given this scenario, coach Alvaro Pacheco was responsible for turning down the adrenaline in Cruzmaltino’s squad. The Portuguese even took the blame for the result in a press conference.

Pedrinho was also in the dressing room

Along with the coach, former player and current president of Vasco, Pedrinho was also present in the dressing room. However, the agent quickly passed by and made no speech. The executive only had a one-on-one conversation with some of the group’s leaders.

Flamengo attacks Vasco

Vasco even went ahead on the scoreboard with Vegeté, but Flamengo crushed their rival last Sunday (02). Thanks to goals from Everton’s Cipollinha, Pedro, David Luiz, Arrascaeta, Bruno Henrique and Gabigol, Mingão scored 6-1 at the Cruzmaltino Stadium, thus advancing in the Brazilian league.
