Vasco has finished negotiations with striker Eduardo Sacha from Atlético. The information was relayed by journalists Marco Vasconcelos, from Radio Tupi, and Vinny Casagrande, and confirmed by Itatiaia on Monday (20).
The report contacted Paulo Brax, CEO of Vasco. He denied an official offer to Sasha, but confirmed talks with Rodrigo Caetano, Director of Football at Atlético.
Sasha is 31 years old, and she wasn’t an option coach Eduardo Coudet used very often. In the 2023 season, he participated in five matches and scored a goal for Gallo.
As verified, Vasco Dome realized that negotiations could not move forward due to the values offered and the age of the striker. The conversation also included 777 Partners, the company responsible for Cruzmaltino’s high investment.
Eduardo Sacha arrived at Atlético in 2020, coming from Santos at the request of then-coach Jorge Sampaoli. Since then, he has made 138 appearances in the Alfinegra jersey, scoring 26 goals and providing eight assists. He was the Brazilian Champion, Copa do Brasil, Supercopa do Brasil and three editions of the Campeonato Mineiro with Gallo.
