As promised, more details about the new medium-duty truck based on the Peugeot Landtrek are gradually being revealed. First, it was the name – Fiat Titano – along with some pictures with details of the exterior. Now, a new exclusive teaser reveals what the interior of the model will look like.

In the video it is possible to see parts of the leather-covered steering wheel, the instrument panel with a digital screen and analog meters on the sides, and a multimedia center with a floating screen.

Center console details are also shown, revealing that the Fiat Titano has a rear differential lock and slope assist, among other functions. In this part, the automatic transmission lever can still be seen, with buttons to activate the Sport and Eco functions, as well as the traction mode selector.

The seats, in addition to being leather, have electrical adjustments on the sides. Also visible on the panel are some buttons (such as those for air conditioning and locks) and USB ports.

Finally, in the multimedia central part, the teaser introduces one of the equipment that will come with the truck: the 360-degree camera, which even shows the rear of the Fiat Titano, with the name written in high relief and complete.

The Fiat Titano will not be a great novelty …

In fact, Fiat’s new mid-size pickup will not be 100% new … That’s because the car is nothing more than a modified version of the Peugeot Land Trek (pickups were already sold abroad), but with a Fiat shield on the grille. The interior itself, as can be seen, is quite similar to the French station wagon.

What happened is that for Brazil, Stellantis chose to change its strategy and present the truck as a Fiat product, not a Peugeot product.

Vrum posted a snapshot of the Fiat Titano just over six months ago. It was reader Bernardo Greco who photographed two units of trucks lying in Belo Horizonte.

If placed on top of the Toro, it would likely have the same dimensions as the Landtrek: 5.33m long, 1.96m wide, 1.82m high and has a wheelbase of 3.18m.

As for the engine, the Fiat Titano is expected to arrive with a different package than that of the French brand’s pickup. Rumors are betting on the adoption of a 2.2 turbo diesel engine borrowed from the Ducato truck. The engine will receive a new modification and will provide 200hp and 45.9kg of torque.

Apparently, the premiere should take place in the second half of this year.
