The deadline is over for those who have financial or tax debt and want to renegotiate special terms and more attractive offers. This is because the National Debt Negotiation and Financial Guidance Task Force ends on Wednesday (30). Banks from across the country and federal revenue are participating.

In Moterau, individuals and legal entities can negotiate credit card debts, overdrafts, payroll loans and other types of credit that are overdue and do not have assets encumbered as collateral.

What are the discounts on Mutirão?

In Mutirao, participating financial institutions, for example, offer installments and discounts on the amount of debt and reduced interest rates for refinancing, according to Febraban.

The Federal Revenue System allows debt renegotiation at up to a 70% discount. The measure includes reducing amounts for individuals, MEIs (Small Individual Entrepreneurs) and companies, which can pay up to R$1.4 trillion in installments in tax debts that are not yet subject to judicial challenge.

For the general public, the maximum discount is 65%; For businesses of all sizes, including MEIs (small individual entrepreneurs) and Santa Casa, the discount can be as high as 70%.

What is the possible period of payment in installments?

For the general public, the installment period for the general public is up to 120 months (ten years). For Corporations, MEIs, Small and Micro Enterprises from Simples Nacional and Santas Casas, the term is up to 145 months (12 years and 1 month). The payment of social contributions in installments for a period of 60 months has been retained, as this is the maximum period fixed by the Constitution.

Remember: You will be negotiating directly with financial institutions, through their traditional communication channels. There is no joint effort in the physical space.
