Cudajas (AM) – In the municipality of Cudajas (240 km from Manaus) the first exhibition of innovation, technology and science in the Amazon region (Mitecam) will be held from 16 to 20 November. This event supported by the Government of Amazonas, through the Amazonas State Research Support Foundation (Fapeam), will be held at the José de Araujo Rodriguez Integrated Cadence Educational Center, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and seeks to foster a space for dissemination and dissemination. Science in the interior of Amazonas.
Supported by the Fapeam Support Program for the Popularization of Science, Technology and Innovation (POP CT&I), the activity is open to the public and will include workshops and lectures on entrepreneurship in the Amazon, sustainability and innovation, environmental education in teaching, animal origami regional animals, a memory game of everyday plants, the Garden of Sensations and appreciation of women in the sciences.
The event coordinator, Professor Elzelin Araujo, confirms that during the event there will also be an exhibition of scientific projects, and a cultural evening, with dance, poetry and plays.
“The goal is to popularize scientific knowledge and science education within the scope of innovation, technology, science and sustainable development in secondary education, and to provide an incentive for the production and presentation of scientific projects,”
Xylene added.
According to the teacher, the initiative seeks to develop interactive activities that enhance the dissemination and manifestation of scientific knowledge by linking different fields of science, by including the importance of environmental education and citizenship in the school environment and in society in relation to knowledge: the cultural, scientific and popular approach to building knowledge.

The Program to Support the Mainstreaming of Science, Technology and Innovation – POP CT&I aims to encourage and support the holding of science popularization events, in person, virtual or hybrid, primarily in the interior regions of the state of Amazonas, by financing the production and distribution of educational materials to democratize the production of knowledge in the field. Science, Technology and Innovation (CT&I), promoting Science and Technology Week, and overall CT&I policy at Amazon itself.
