Last Thursday (24), in Brasilia, the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo (Ifes) Campus Venda Nova participated in a meeting with the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Luciana Santos, to highlight the research projects developed by the institution.
With a special focus on the innovative coffee design project and the “City of Innovation” perspective, the meeting was attended by the Rector of Ifes University, Jadir Bela, the General Director of the Campus, Mayra Maciel, and Professors Lucas Lozada and Emmanuel. Oliveira and Aldemar Bolognini.
The session was characterized by an optimistic atmosphere that reflects the hope of “Efes Venda Nova” regarding the developments and directions proposed by the Ministry.
The main objective of the meeting was to present the work of the “Coffee Design” project, and to search for partnerships that could enhance the Foundation’s research, teaching and extension projects.
A particular focus is on expanding the number of producers served and the social and economic impacts generated by growing coffee in Espirito Santo, reinforcing the campus’s commitment to promoting continuous improvements for Venda Nova and the region. This year alone, 1,200 Arabica and Connellon producers were served in the state.
