Humana Saeed exhibition of humor announces the winners of the fourteenth session

Last Friday (16) the winners of the 14th Humana Saeed Salon of Humor were announced. In a special night of live broadcasts, broadcast on YouTube, the audience was able to discover the best works of this version. More than 1,300 works from 61 countries such as Germany, Australia, Canada, China, South Korea, USA, India, Iran, Italy, UK, Portugal, Turkey and more have been entered. In 2022, the contest brought “time” as a theme that inspired artists in the categories of cartoons and/or cartoons and comics/comic.

The winners were announced by announcer Simone Castro along with award curator of the contest, Jota A. All drawings will be mailed to correspondents.

There were prizes of R$15,000 divided between categories. Italy won the main prize at the Salon, taking first place with the best cartoon / cartoon work by artist Gabrielle Corvi, who revealed her satisfaction at being among the finalists. “For me, it is a great pleasure and honor to be included in this list, especially since the subject, time, has always fascinated me. This year also saw the fifth edition of Salaozinho, whose theme was friendship. The first place brought the dog as best friend in a picture that made the judges think about the true meaning of friendship. The first children’s prize went to the Brazilian Jorge Eduardo de Oliveira Tavares, who announced in a video clip how happy he was to take part in the competition.
