Bonn Chair Program, a partnership with Heads (Coordination for the Improvement of Personnel in Higher Education) with the University of Bonn in Germany is open for applications for scholarships abroad in the field of Indigenous Ontology and Ethics. Two other appeals are part of the cooperation agreement between the two institutions: 1) Agriculture, biodiversity and bioeconomy two) Medicine, global health and immunology. The first will receive registrations from August 1 to October 31, 2024, and the second from August 1 to October 31, 2025.
The program specifies the selection of one candidate in the chair method, which may indicate one postdoctoral fellow and one sandwich PhD. The duration of the professorship will be from 6 to 12 months, and the duration of the other will be from 6 to 10 months. Each call will be backed by R$481,000, starting in 2024 and lasting for a maximum of 12 months.
KEPES relaunched the Bonn Chair Program in June this year with the proposal to deepen academic cooperation between Brazilian and German higher education institutions and research centres, as well as to encourage the creation of new partnerships and an international research network.
