Eletrobras (ELET3, ELET6) has completed the sale of its entire holding of 15,307,740 ordinary shares in Companhia Paranaense de Energia – Copel (CPLE6, CPLE3).
The information was posted on Monday night 4.
Eletrobras reported that the total value of the sale, which was executed in a B3 environment, amounted to R$125.3 million.
“This operation is aimed at reducing minority and non-strategic stakes, as well as simplifying and optimizing the portfolio,” Elitrobras explained.
With the sale of this stake, Eletrobras has reduced the number of minority stakes in associated and joint venture companies to 19.
