The company’s interest in operating unprecedented flights to Brazil arose last year, when Imperator (Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of International Tourism) confirmed EgyptAir’s operations here. The flight, which was scheduled to start in 2022, had to be postponed and will now be operated from the second half of 2023.

The news is excellent because, until then, the only way to get to Egypt by plane from Brazil is to connect to other countries. However, since this is a charter flight, it will not be possible to redeem flights for miles and points.
