Cruzeiro’s main player, attacking midfielder Matheus Pereira, is going through a fantastic phase. This Thursday (13), the heavenly goalkeeper scored one goal and assisted another in a 2-1 win over Cuiaba, in the eighth round of the Brazilian League. The performance received praise from Denilson, the Brazilian national team’s world champion.

Despite the permanency announcements, Cruzeiro has not yet announced the athlete’s continuity. Matheus Pereira had a contract with Al Hilal until the end of June 2026. Earlier, upon his arrival at Mineirão, Eduardo Malouf, coach of the No. 10 team, stated: “Everything is fine. Let’s wait a little while. It’s going to work, it’s going to work.”
