Input GDP is expected to decline by 15.7% to R$162.7 billion, thanks in large part to lower fertilizer prices.

On all fronts (inputs, primary production, agro-industries, and services), the GDP of the agricultural branch could increase by 2.3%, to R$1.952 billion, and the livestock branch tends to decline by 4.3%, to R$699.5. one billion. The values ​​are adjusted by the implicit GDP deflator and take into account the results obtained in the first quarter.

For the January-March period, Cepea and CNA calculations indicated growth of 0.19% in GDP, with a 0.66% rise in the agricultural sector, mainly supported by a record soybean harvest in the 2022/23 harvest. In Livestock there was a decline of 1.09%, driven by lower prices and production values ​​of livestock and poultry.
