Three people were injured in a shooting at the Novo Brasil Brewery in Chula Vista, California, USA on Saturday night (October 28). According to preliminary information, the incident took place after an argument between two factions. None of the victims are in danger of losing their lives. As of this Sunday (October 29), the suspect who shot the victims is still being sought. Two of the injured were local employees.
The establishment in the United States is owned by the former owners of the traditional Walls Brewery in Belo Horizonte. The establishment’s owner posted on social media that it was an isolated case and had been operating without major incident since opening in 2019.
The bar located inside the shopping mall is now operating as usual. After the crime, the mall was closed for about 30 minutes for police operations. US officials said they did not believe the shooting was linked to a hate crime or terrorism.
