The Grêmio fan who attended the rink on Wednesday (04) went home sure he saw history happen.
Dressed in a tricolor cape, striker Luis Suarez appeared on the lawn of the stadium and made his first contact with the Grêmio crowd.
The arena gates opened around 5:30pm (Brasilia time) and it did not disappoint the fans, as the stadium facilities quickly filled up.
In the midst of the action, Grêmio released a video containing highlights of Suarez throughout his career and his goals for Uruguay and Barcelona.

Before his offer speech, Suarez was surprised by a welcome message that included emotional words from Artur Melo, Lucas Leiva, Busquets, Neymar, Diego Lugano and family members.
Clearly affected by the party, the Uruguay spoke to the crowd and believed the team could go far this season.
“It’s very difficult for me to speak Portuguese. Thank you very much for welcoming all the fans yesterday and today. The fans will be with the players and I think important things will happen,” he said, before adding:
“Over the past few days I have received incredible emotion. I am very grateful. I promise I will play football, score goals and try to win titles so that Grêmio can get back to where it should be.”
Before leaving the grass, Suarez did an Olympic lap, where he waved, took a picture and kicked balls into the crowd.
