The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) and the New York State Air National Guard (NYANG) recognized this need and promoted an operational intelligence workshop within the framework of EXCON Tápio, the main irregular warfare exercise in Latin America.

Aviator Captain Diego Luis Márquez Vieira, Head of the Scenario Cell at EXCON Tápio, highlighted that this initiative represents a valuable opportunity for exchange between Brazil and the United States. During the workshop, soldiers of both countries shared techniques Intelligent data processing, seeks to improve the way information is collected and transmitted. “It demonstrates the growing rapport between the two countries to work together,” the captain noted.

Sergeant Joe René, one of the members of the NYANG, highlighted the importance of the workshop: “This was my first time at Tápio training and the experience was incredibly enriching”.
