Actress Maria Fernanda Candido may be part of the cast of “Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets.” The third film in the series, which is a prequel to the “Harry Potter” series, is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 15, 2022. Part of the plot of the new film takes place in Rio de Janeiro in 1930, after the first films were shown in New York City in 1926, and in Paris in 1927.
Previously, Brazilian fans of the franchise had already speculated about the actress’s presence in the saga after some photos of her in a locker room very similar to the dressing room of the franchise’s regular cast. Also, she was in England shooting a movie when she posted the photos.
However, neither the actress nor the film’s production has given any official statement in this regard so far. Although this has not been confirmed, fans are speculating that Maria Fernanda Candido will play the Brazilian Minister of Magic in the film directed by David Yates.
