Celine Dion, 55, has canceled shows on her world tour, the Courage World Tour, due to her health issues. The singer was diagnosed with rigid person syndrome. In a statement on social media, Celine said it was difficult to make the decision to cancel shows, but necessary.
“It’s not fair that you keep postponing shows, and as much as it breaks my heart, we’d better cancel everything now until I’m really ready to get back on stage again.” The singer says that even when she’s 100%, touring is hard.
Those who have already purchased tickets for any of the 42 dates of the tour will be refunded. The tour will begin in August this year and will continue until 2024, with shows in countries such as the Netherlands, France, England, Denmark, Germany and Ireland.

Celine announced the diagnosis in December 2022.
The rare neurological disease is characterized by progressive muscle stiffness and muscle spasms.
