The Board of Directors of Caixa Seguridade Participações (CXSE3) approved this Thursday 9, the distribution of an advance interim dividend equivalent to 90.88% of the net profit earned until March 31, 2024.
The value is 840 million Brazilian reals. The value per share is R$0.28.
The dividend will be paid on August 15, 2024 and will be based on shareholders’ positions on August 1, 2024, with the shares trading ex-dividend as of August 2, 2024.
Profit in the first quarter 24
Caixa Seguridade achieved net management profit of R$924.3 million in the first quarter of 2024, a growth of 12.7% compared to the same period in 2023.
It should be noted that the administrative result takes into account the allocation of results according to the CPC 11 standard (IFRS 4), which is still approved by the Private Insurance Supervisory Authority (SUSEP), and which the company discloses in an integrated manner, while maintaining comparability with the reported performance. In the last years. From an accounting perspective, according to CPC 50 (IFRS 17), Caixa Seguridade achieved a net profit of R$855.7 million, a growth of 5.1% compared to the first quarter of 2023.
The company recorded a return on equity of 64.8% for the first quarter of 2024, up 12.5 percentage points from the same period in 2023.
