Atlético’s main player, Hulk, survived and entered the second half in the defeat to Atletico-PR
Hulk did not leave any criticism after Atlético’s 3-2 defeat to Atlético, on Sunday (7), in the 21st round of the Brazilian Championship. Although he started in the second half of the match in Mineiro, the Gallo star called the players responsible and demanded more maturity and intelligence.
An experienced striker wants the team to learn from mistakes. As in the last match, when Atlético opened the difference but gave Palmeiras a tie, the team scored again at the end, and this time, Hurricane defeated.
“Regarding the result, we make mistakes a lot. We have to learn from our mistakes. We make mistakes in every game and we don’t have the maturity to learn from our mistakes. What happened today ends up being over. There is no point in playing well, who took responsibility for the defeat with his teammates,” said Hulk.
“It’s all the players’ fault, it’s all our fault. As one of the leaders, I’m here to take on this responsibility, which falls on all of us. We have to be more mature, more intelligent, because we learn from mistakes,” the player, in an interview with the mixed area of the field.
Hulk said the team knew how to hold on to the advantages last year, but hasn’t done so this season. He also mentions end errors and again asks Atlético for maturity.
“Our mistakes are fair. We have to be smarter when we win the game, and know how to keep score, which is something we did well last year, and this year we are facing a lot of difficulties. We have to be more mature. If you don’t learn from your mistakes, it’s difficult.”
Finally, the shirt asked 7 feet on the ground and humility to face Palmeiras. And he will visit Atlético Verdo on Wednesday, at 9:30 pm, at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo, in the second leg of the Libertadores Cup quarter-final.
