Mariana Mavis, the 40-year-old daughter of broadcaster Ana María Braga, caused a stir on social media after she made a comment comparing the Covid-19 vaccine to a “satanic agenda”. After the negative repercussions, she resorted to social networking sites, Thursday, 14th of this month, to clarify her position.

“I’m not against anything. Let’s be clear. Everyone makes their own decision and lives with the consequences. Health is a public issue, yes, but everyone owes their health to themselves. […] I don’t think we need to take gene therapy that is dangerous. “We shouldn’t do that,” he said.

He continued: “Don’t call me a denier. Everyone can make their own decision in life. I don’t speak publicly about other types of vaccines, whether I take them or not. I respect all of you. This is my opinion.” Mariana added: “I am not a doctor or specialist.”

Mariana Maveis is a yoga teacher. She lives in the interior of São Paulo with her husband, Padarric González, and has four children: Juana, 12, Maria, 9, Varona, 2, and Hima, 1 month.
