3 people were killed in the shooting at the University of Las Vegas

According to authorities, the suspect was located and died; Police also confirmed that the condition of one of the injured is critical.

A gunman opened fire on the University of Nevada campus in the US on Wednesday (December 6, 2023), Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said. The corporation said that 3 people have died and the condition of one person is critical.

Local authorities confirmed the suspect “He was found dead”. The shooter’s identity has not been released. Police said they had no information on a motive for the attack.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the corporation said the area has been evacuated and there are no threats in the area. The investigation is ongoing.

At approximately 4:54 pm ET, Las Vegas police responded to a call about a shooting. “Many Victims” on the University of Nevada campus. According to witnesses at the scene, shots were fired near the building where the company’s administrative faculty is located.

At the time of the attacks, students and staff were advised by the university to evacuate the area and seek shelter. After the shooter was located and killed, the injured were taken to area hospitals.
