The ERJ 145s will be replaced by the E175, which will also be delivered by American Airlines from Embraer. The popular aircraft offers high capacity (26 seats) and excellent comfort.

“The E145 has served Envoy well for many years and we are excited about the ability to focus on one type of equipment with the growing Embraer 170/175 aircraft,” the airline’s statement said.

“These aircraft will make Ambassador a stronger, leaner organization and help us make Ambassador an important part of the American Eagle network,” Ambassador concluded.

Envoy’s current fleet consists of 20 E170s, a smaller variant of the E-Jet, and 107 E175 jets. The airline is one of three that make up the American Eagle network, along with PSA and Piedmont Airlines.

Envoy will replace its last ERJ 145s with six E175s (EA).
