Embraer today announced the expansion of its Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) service network to support the growing fleet of E-Jets in the United States. The company will open a new service center at Perot Field Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas.
Along with the city of Fort Worth, Denton County and the state of Texas, Embraer expects to begin operations in the existing hangar in the first quarter of 2025. A second hangar will be built later and is expected to be completed in 2027. With the new facilities, Embraer expects to significantly increase its installed capacity to serve E-Jets customers in the United States.
“This expansion will significantly increase the capacity, capabilities and coverage of our service network, providing better service to our customers and growing E-Jets fleet in North America. Furthermore, the expansion is part of Embraer’s growth strategy in the US.”
Carlos Naufel, President and CEO of Embraer Services and Support
The new Fort Worth service center will join Embraer’s global service network, which includes 80 authorized centers and 12 company-owned centers worldwide. The city of Fort Worth was selected as a finalist for the program, subject to approval of proposed incentives by local government officials.
