Rapper Cardi B will be on the Fast and Furious 10 cast, according to saga star Vin Diesel. The 53-year-old actress gave an interview to “Entertainment Tonight” on Monday (06/21) and said the rapper will be on the cast for the tenth and final film in the franchise to expand her character’s involvement in the story.
“We are very excited to develop her character and expand her to the end,” the actress said when confirming the singer’s presence on the film’s cast, which has already been broadcast for a few weeks.
On her Twitter account, Cardi B commented last week that she is very excited to see The Fast and the Furious 9, which will be her acting debut. The premiere is scheduled to take place on July 22nd here in Brazil.
“I can’t wait to see The Fast and the Furious 9. I haven’t seen my scenes yet! That’s the best part about it: watching the movie and then seeing yourself coming in. I’m so proud of myself. God is good,” she wrote.
The new installment of the Fast and Furious saga was supposed to open last year, but the novel coronavirus pandemic prevented the film from reaching cinemas. With repeated vaccinations in the United States, this year’s debut has been rescheduled.
