The UFC Blachowicz vs Rakic match ended in a disappointing fashion. Aleksandar Rakic was superior after two rounds, but he picked up a right knee injury while going backwards and saw Jan Blachović pull away with a TKO victory in 1:11 of the third round. As a result, the pole demanded another chance for the light-heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg), which was his until Glover Teixeira overtook him.

Faster, Rakic quickly found the distance to hit the pole and used the best punch technique to get the best moments of the round. Blachowicz took some good punches, but had a hard time dealing with his opponent’s standing. In the second round, the Austrian put him to the ground in the first seconds, but had to escape a dangerous triangle from his opponent. At the top, Rakic only dominated the rest of the round.
In the third round, the fighters exchanged blows while standing, but they did not throw anything rude. But in an attack by Blachowicz, Rakic injured his knee alone and collapsed, forcing the central referee to stop the fight.
Amanda Ribas shows her heart, but loses due to the split decision
In Amanda Ribas’ rise to flyweight (up to 57 kg) to take on Division 1 seed Catelyn Chukajian, the win was down to the Brazilian player’s details. Performing well in a very balanced confrontation, Minas Gerais was defeated by a split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) on the main card.

It didn’t take long for Amanda to get a judo game over her opponent. A former guard, she had a hard time controlling the American, but she stuck to her ground and hit her whenever she found space. After much prodding, the Chookagian was able to sweep up and get back on his feet. In hitting, the two hit some good kicks. Despite the extensive American advantage, Ribas managed to break through the block several times.
The fight remained balanced in the second round, but Ribas had a similar takedown to that of the previous round with three minutes remaining. This time, Shukajian was able to close the goalkeeper, but the Brazilian was still active on the ground. A minute ago, the American got up and delivered two powerful blows to Amanda’s face. In the final round, Catelyn controlled the distance better with her kicks and blocked the Brazilian’s takedown attempts for victory.
Pure Bone wins an eventful battle against Jake Hadley
For those who love jiu-jitsu, the fight between Alan Borough Uso and Jake Hadley was a total board. With many twists and turns on the ground and a high technical level, the confrontation ended with the Brazilian winning by unanimous decision (30-27 triple) to achieve his first positive result since his appointment by the UFC. At the same time, the flyweight removed the unbeaten record of the English player, which had already lasted eight matches.

The first round was a demonstration of ground technology by both fighters. It was Puro Osso who put this duo down, but they changed the position of control several times and tried to end the attacks. Hadley showed accurate ground, but Chute Boxe athlete Diego Lima had more time to excel. In the second round, Puro Osso got a quick takedown and dominated the top all the time.
Hadley came back better in the last round and landed in front by attacking his opponent’s neck with an inverted hand triangle. Pure Bone tried the sweep, but his back slipped. The Brazilian prevented the opponent from hooking and reversed the situation with plenty of technique to stay ahead. He lost the position, the Englishman was in front again, but Boro Oso swept again and managed to score with a floor and a pound in the final seconds.
