SPFC: Pablo gives up 15 million Rls, but wants to receive arrears for termination – 01/13/2022

The TV series featuring Pablo’s future has gained a new chapter tonight (13). The striker offered a deal to Sao Paulo to terminate his contract. In the proposal, he agreed to waive the 15 million reais that Morumbi would pay him in salary and image rights until the end of 2023, but he wanted to receive the arrears already owed by Tricolor.

São Paulo owes Pablo’s image rights and parts of his 2020 salary, which were reduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but were to be paid later. The club does not disclose the total amount it owes to the player.

Information about Pablo’s proposal was first reported and confirmed by “GE” UOL Esporte.

Without falling in favor of the fans and getting out of Rogerio Ceni’s plans for the season, Pablo is now negotiable in Sao Paulo. Morumbi’s team tried to involve him in a deal with Internacional, but it was unsuccessful. Later, the striker’s father, Cicero Teixeira, rejected the loan offers from Ciara and Santos.

That was from Ciara what Sao Paulo liked the most. Alvenegro’s team agreed to pay the player’s salary in full and even offered him the value of gloves for his transfer. In the case of Santos, the Morumbi team agreed to pay a portion of Pablo’s salaries. But there was no agreement.

Pablo and Cicero want to return to Atletico, the team in which the striker lived the best moments of his career. The Paraná team contacted São Paulo, but financial problems halted the deal. Atletico wanted a free loan, but Morumbi’s team demanded compensation for the deal.
