Maicon terminated the contract with Raposa before signing with Santos. The 33-year-old defender has been approved by the executive branch of football Edo Dracaena and new coach Fabian Bustos.
The main boost to Cruzeiro for 2022, the Maicon was announced and presented at the end of last year as evidence for fans that the upcoming season will be different from the previous one.
