MOSCOW, March 1 (EFE) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Tuesday denounced the presence of US nuclear weapons in Europe and again demanded security guarantees from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The chancellor emphasized that, contrary to the basic provisions of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, the nuclear weapons of the United States are still present on the territory of several European countries. “It is time for American nuclear weapons to be brought home.
