The 200 thousand Rock in Rio Cards on sale this Tuesday, 21, sold out at 1:28. Sales started at 7 p.m. on rockinrio.ingresso.com, the official ticket-selling channel for the world’s largest music and entertainment festival. Once again, the festival surprised and broke the record for the time of card sales.
According to the Rock in Rio organization, the amount of concurrent access exceeded 800,000 unique users to purchase the Rock in Rio Card. This means that if the festival opens today, official ticket sales will have an audience to fill out two full copies of Rock in Rio, considering the average sales per person is two tickets.
For 2022, the organization has already released names from Palco Mundo’s lineup, such as IRON MAIDEN, Dream Theater, Megadeth and Sepultura + Orquestra Sinfonica Brasileira, which will perform in the second; Post Malone, Marshmello, Jason Derulo, and Alok, on the third; Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato and Isa, on the fourth; Dua Lipa and Ivete Sangalo concluded the festival on the 11th. At Stage Sunset, the confirmed attractions were Joss Stone, Corinne Bailey Rae, Gloria Groove and Duda Beat, who will perform on September 8th. Rock in Rio 2022 will be held on September 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10 and 11, 2022 in the city of Rock in Rio de Janeiro.
