Quinn tests Meghan and Harry’s loyalty – Metro World News Australia

After last year, relations between Meghan, Harry and other members of the royal family are certainly not what they used to be. After denouncing racism within the royal family, after revealing Harry’s childhood trauma caused by Charles and various other embarrassing statements, Queen Elizabeth II appears to be testing the loyalty of the Sussex family.

Meghan and Harry, the Duchess and Duke of Sussex respectively, attended the Queen’s platinum jubilee, which took place earlier this month and celebrated the monarch’s 70th anniversary. Several officials joined members of the royal family at various public events.

But even if Harry and Meghan didn’t receive a cordial welcome when they returned from California as family for the first time, the fact that they were included in the public festivities represented an “olive branch” for royal expert Duncan Larcombe. He believes the royal family will now be waiting impatiently to see if the Sussexes will use their visit to the UK for content purposes.

“Testing really begins now for Harry and Meghan. They came to the UK and Jubilee and really cemented themselves as royalty again, which is great for their brand and something Spotify, Netflix and Penguin will eat,” Larcombe said in an interview with Closer.

For the expert, their continued inclusion in official events will depend in large part on how (if any) they talk about what they have seen and heard over the long Jubilee Weekend. “Everything now depends on your behavior in the future. The royal family obviously has extended an olive branch here. But Harry and Meghan would be sarcastic if any private information about this weekend was released to the press or revealed in a book.”

For Larcombe, members of the British royal family no longer fully trust Sussex and will use the jubilee fallout as a measure of whether that trust can be rebuilt or broken forever.

This is their last chance. If anything leaks out of the Platinum Jubilee, I imagine it will be completely cut out and that will be the case. It’s very dangerous territory if they betray someone now. But if they do it right and prove they can be trusted, this could be a huge step in the right direction and a fresh start.”
