The brothers first met after seeing Megan and Harry interview with Oprah Winfrey, which aired at Prince Philip’s funeral in March. Among other things, the royal couple talked about the reasons that led to the family leaving as senior members, which was undesirable by the Queen, and by Harry’s father and brother, Prince Charles and William, respectively. One of the most controversial was the release of racist comments about the skin tone of their first child Archie.
At the end of the funeral, the brothers walked side by side and chatted outside the church. Many considered it a good start in resolving the differences between the two. Three days later, Harry flew back to the United States with his wife, Megan Markle, and son. Megan is in the final months of pregnancy and the royal couple is expecting their second child, who will be born between June and September as a girl.
Omid Scoby, an expert on the British Royal Family British Journal of the Bazaar, said he had met the Duke of Sussex, Queen Elizabeth, at least twice before returning to the United States. Prince Harry visited the United Kingdom in early March after he and Megan Markle gave a controversial interview to presenter Oprah Winfrey.
When will we see Harry next to William?
The two brothers plan to meet again in memory of their mother, Princess Diana, to unveil the statue. The event is expected to bring together members of the press and senior members of the royal family at a ceremony to be held at Kensington Palace to commemorate Lady D’s birthday. If she were alive she would be 60 years old.
This statue will be installed at Kensington Palace in Princess Diana’s favorite place: Chungan Garden. In 2017, the Sungan Garden was transformed into a beautiful tribute to the 20th anniversary of Diana’s death, featuring exhibitions of her favorite flowers such as forget-me-nots, white lilies, white roses, tulips, daffodils and daisies. Sean Hurkin, chief gardener at Kensington Palace, said the color scheme was a tribute to Diana’s love of whites and creams in her own style.
The statue will be unveiled on July 1, 2021, the same date as Princess Diana’s 60th birthday. The official statement was sent directly to the press from Kensington Palace’s communications department: “The statue will be installed on July 1, 2021 in the Chungan Garden at Kensington Palace to mark the Princess’ 60th birthday. The princes hope the statue will reflect the life and heritage of their mother to all who visit Kensington Palace. ”
Who will make the statue?
The two brothers jointly commissioned the statue in 2017. In an official statement, they said: “Twenty years after the death of our mother, now is the right time to recognize its positive impact on the UK and around the world with a permanent statue. Our mother has touched many lives. We hope this statue will help everyone visiting Kensington Palace to reflect their life and heritage. ”
The statue was made by Rank-Bradley, the same sculptor who painted the image of the Queen used on coins in the United Kingdom.
Questions about Megan
In the final months of her second son’s pregnancy, it is not yet known whether Megan Markle, the fruit of her marriage to Prince Harry, will arrive at that time. The couple have already revealed that they are expecting a baby girl, but the date for the delivery has not been released. They only said that births should take place during the summer months in the Northern Hemisphere from June to September.
