Celebrities have used social media to say goodbye and pay homage to Gilberto Braga, author of the TV series on Globo Q.who passed away on Tuesday (26th) at the age of 75. He had Alzheimer’s syndrome and was hospitalized with an infection that occurred after perforation of the esophagus.
Novelist Gloria Pérez wrote: “And Gilberto is gone … master, unforgettable storyteller, companion of many decades in the profession.”
Actress Patricia Pilar said: “I am deeply saddened by the passing of my dear friend Gilberto Braga. Creator of great and unforgettable characters who will live forever in our hearts. Rest in peace.”
Paula Oliveira, who played the protagonist of the novel Insensato Coração (2011), a series from Braga, thanked the writer. She said, “What a sad news of your passing. Brazil is losing some of the magic of great characters, iconic villains and good ideas in front of the TV. Thanks for being a part of my story, Gilberto Braga! Relax!” , She said.
