Learn how to update your Caixa Tem registration data

Caixa Tem is a free app from Caixa Econômica Federal, aimed at moving the balance of digital social savings and receiving social benefits. In this way, many banking services are offered there, and therefore, it is important that the registration data is always correct. Caixa Tem is like a banking app, where you can make pix and transfers, make purchases with a virtual debit card, and pay boletos, among other things. This app has been used a lot in the last couple of years, due to the pandemic emergency assistance.

Therefore, Caixa says it intends to turn Caixa Tem into a full-fledged digital bank targeting low-income residents. However, since it is a savings and focused on social software, there are some limitations which, if not followed, generate a cost to the user. Among them are the maximum balance movement limit of R$5,000, the limit for withdrawing twice per month without a card, the limit of three transfers to other banks per month and the limit for withdrawing only two statements per month.

How do you update your data?

If you have a Caixa Tem account and would like to update your data, read on to understand how to do so. The upgrade is free and you only need internet and identification document at hand. With that, enter Caixa Tem and log in.

Next, go to the main menu, click on “Update my registration” and then on “I understand, let’s get started”. Once this is done, Caixa Tem will display your data and/or the fields to fill in. You should check them and change the errors, if any. For those who are right, you can continue.

It is important to note that you will be asked for information about your income and wealth, and you will need to inform the sources of income, values, time of receipt, etc. So, keep this information on hand.

So after completing the update just wait 48 hours and the services will be available to you in the app. If you have any problems, go to a Caixa branch to help you solve and update your data.
