This order, totaling 70 aircraft, maintains the LATAM Group’s fleet as the largest in Latin America, with greater range and capacity. The integration of the A320neo family aircraft includes more efficient engines, aerodynamic improvements and the latest technology that delivers 20% greater fuel efficiency, thus reducing CO2 emissions, as well as a 50% reduction in fuel emissions. By signing this agreement, the group intends to strengthen its operations in all its subsidiaries across the continent with a modern fleet and maximum environmental efficiency, which is one of the pillars of its sustainability strategy.
