Asia, a 14.9% increase compared to August 2023, but a 25.3% decline compared to August 2019, totaling 2.6 million passengers.

Key entry points

New York/JFK (3.76 million), Los Angeles (2.2 million), Miami (2.16 million), Newark (1.56 million) and San Francisco (1.52 million) were the main gateways for visitors in August 2024.

The main entry points for North Americans during the month were: London/Heathrow (1.75 million), Toronto (1.17 million), Paris (914 thousand), Cancun (904 thousand) and Frankfurt (776 thousand tourists).
