Santas Casas resources will arise from transfer balances from the federation received in the health and social assistance funds of the states, the Federal District and municipalities, which can be used until the end of 2023. If the balances are insufficient to pay the entities, the federation may transfer the difference. If there are surplus resources, they can be applied to other hygienic procedures.

The executive authority sets the rules for the payments of the entities. The text specifies transparency in transfers and requires credits to be transferred within 30 days, counted from the date the parameters are posted.

Entities will receive resources even if they have debts with respect to taxes and contributions, with the exception of social security debts.
